Default another new post

hi i am new here( you proberly hear that a lot). i'm jack aged 15/16 (couple of days) i am just beginning to get into parkour and love every moment of it. im semi fit, but one thing i cant get right is the vault where you have your hands on the rail and your legs go between them, i kept trying this to day and managed to knock my self out on the iron fence, if any one could give me a few pointers thanks

wassup jack! und happy birthday!!!!!!
What you are describing sounds like a catpass. Try doing it on something a bit more flat and with grass behind it. MAy sound stupid but those green electric box things with the the slopes on both sides on the top are grweat for learning vaults, did my first dash on one! Can be hard to explain how to do if i can't realy see what your're doing wrong, but my advice is to just go for it, eventually it will come to you.

Happy trainings

If you lift your hips up so that your back is horizontal it'll help. If your back stays upright it'll feel scary getting your legs through, or as if they won't fit.

Just keep trying, you'll get it soon enough.

rember to push/pull with your hands, unless your quite flexible they wont go through , so you want to jump push of with hands and go over as if going through your hands
