im an artist and this was a concern for me boxing, the key is to play with bags of sand, do knuckle push-ups and finger push ups, when u do knuckle push-ups maybe put a towl on the floor under your fists, or grip a 10-15 pound wieght....but bags of sand are the best.

edit 07/2/08.....when i say bags of sand i mean to play with a small balloon full of sand, or somthin like that...
