Tim that was uncalled for.
he was sharing a ligitamate problem with someone else his age.
you're not too young to train, but if you are really young you have to be esspeccially careful when training because your bones are still growing.

Starting young can be useful, if you gradually introduce your body (especially) to Parkour-type movements from a young age, so long as you are very gentle and sensible with your training, your body will be much stronger, flexible and well-suited to Parkour.

The reason that so many of us end up with joint problems in particular is because we spend our youth not moving like this, either confined indoors or not having a reason to climb all day long such as monkeys do in their homes. Then when we suddenly change the way we move so dramatically, our bodies cannot take the impacts and cannot adapt fast enough.

Please take care of your bodies, I have recurring patellar tendonitis (very painful knees, that keep coming back, even with a lot of rehabilitation and no training for months). This was due to me jumping from walls and rooves above my head height now and then when I was about 13 - 14 years old.

At this age your body is still growing, and this is a perfect age to gradually introduce yourself to intelligently planned strength training, but a VERY bad age to injure yourself or put your body under too much stress, as the effects are irreversible and will plague you for a long time to come.

I'm forever wishing I'd realised what I was doing would cause me so much pain and trouble, it stops me from being able to train to my fullest now.

Don't let yourself end up in the same position, you'll thank yourself for it later on when you have perfect joints and feel strong and free to train to your full potential.

I started at ten and hadno idea what I was doing, I had knee pains from jumping off things over my head height until I was 11, I'm fully recivered now hough and don't jump off anything over my head height.
