Default Sand good for tricking?

I think sand is one of the best materials for tricking !
i was in scarborough a few month ago and i learnt to KTM (well its kind of one) but i think its just the best material for bailing on!

What do you prefer to trick on ?

It depends really, once you get to a good level, it becomes harder to trick on sand.
tricking on sand is amazing for people who are just starting up as its soft and well, its not as 'scary'. But once you get to the level which you start bailing on sand, moving up to grass is the best thing. I find grass is alot easier to trick on. But ive never tricked on Concrete, something has always put me off from Bailing a backflip and landing on your back

Maby for getting over fear as Tim said, but you get no punch or lift off the dry stuff as it just sinks in, makes it really hard for most tricks.

Thats debatable, When i started off, I found things like butterfly kicks and shizz really easy. But it does depend on how powerfull your legs are aswell

was tricking into a sandpit today, was fun
sandpits are better than on a beach as you can take off from concrete or grass

Butterfly kicks require no punch, as i said, its moves like round off back that are going to be harder to do.

Well i now trick loads on grass (well i did before) and try new things, sand is a natural material and i mean i think its the best outdoor(natural) material to try new tricks on before you go on to grass :P
